I honestly don’t understand the concept of being a mistress. Knowing the dog-like nature of men, I guess it’s somewhat natural for men to have them. But why do women let themselves become one? A little pride please. Getting involved with a married man is crossing a dangerous and delicate line, yet we read and watch stories of great, passionate affairs everywhere.
Sure, some women would insist their love is so great it doesn’t consider such dangerous lines. But consider this: a love that is great is able to THINK. Why can’t women just learn to love themselves first? Respecting yourself is a much more sensible feeling of love. And if you had such self-respect, you wouldn’t have to slip into the mistake of being a mistress.
GELA IF I COULD “LIKE” THIS A JILLION TIMES I WOULD.
I get it. Coz sometimes women are just using the married men rin naman to meet needs. Just because men stereotypically play with women doesn’t mean women can’t and aren’t using men in the same way, being the kabit.
Gamitan lang. Walang love-love.
to @stateofjoe i’m referring to mistresses who believe their relationship with married men are based on ‘love’ :)
Hmmm… Well, I think a lot of times it really is love, not just ‘love.’ Men make the bigger ‘mistake’ of marrying first: on impulse, on disillusionment, not love - just something a lot like it. It’s the man’s fault for using his heart (or as you think, his other head) more than his real head, eventually forcing women to become mistresses when the real love comes.
Okay I absolutely hate reblog conversations. This is making me cringe. Kthxbai
